The Neues Gymnasium Bochum (NGB) resulted from the merger of the historic Gymnasium am Ostring (founded 1860) and Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium, housed in an architecturally award-winning campus near the Glockengarten. The school offers a rich spectrum of language tracks, including classical Latin and Greek as well as English, French, Spanish, Russian, and Italian.
NGB features an English bilingual branch, expansive science laboratories, rooftop astronomical observatory equipment, and collaborative study modules in partnership with the neighbouring Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
